⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Pekoe at Alserkal Avenue today with my parents, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is calm and stylish perfect for a relaxed afternoon coffee or tea. Our server, Furqan, was fantastic warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He took the time to explain the menu and made great recommendations that suited my parents’ tastes perfectly. The tea selection is impressive, and everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. It’s not easy to find a place that feels both modern and comfortable for older guests, but Pekoe managed it effortlessly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alserkal Avenue great service, great tea, and a lovely overall vibe. ~ Greg O

Literally the best matcha in Dubai!! Very authentic and special place, definitely worth visiting if you are not from UAE for the perfect internationally laced welcoming cafe experience. The staff is very professional and attentive (special shoutout to Swastika and Steve, they are your new best friends!! They and honestly all of the staff always make sure the visitors are taken care of and have a good and proper experience, also couldn’t not mention Furqan(waiter) and Binod(barista), super super thanks to them for always brightening and enriching the super euphoric experience of visiting this awesome cafe!!) It's the perfect place for tea and pastries lovers! It's truly beautiful and they have such a beautiful display of their tea selection which they also offer to give you a taste of before you decide on an order so that was very lovely! I tried a peach green tea mix which was just perfect in every way! And my partner ordered their V60 coffee that was also very well brewed, even I liked it ( and I am not a coffee lover) I also ordered their sourdough bread, which I do have to say was small compared to what I usually get especially for the price but it was a good loaf so no complaints! Will definitely be going back soon especially since the staff are very friendly and smiley it was truly a pleasure to visit the place! ~ Basima A

I’ve already been here twice in the past few days for brunch, and I can’t get enough—the food is simply outstanding! The Eggs Purgatorio is hands down the best shakshouka I’ve ever had, served with perfectly poached eggs and creamy burrata—absolutely divine, a 10/10. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the smoked pastrami sandwich and the egg & sausage burger, both of which were equally delicious. We’re incredibly picky eaters, yet every dish exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Joseph for being so kind, attentive, and helpful—his hospitality, along with the wonderful team, makes this place truly exceptional. This little café is a hidden gem for tea lovers, but truly makes it shine is the amazing service — especially from Binod and Gladys. Gladys greeted us with a warm smile and walked us through the menu, her knowledge and passion for tea were clear, and she made us feel instantly welcome. Binod prepared our drinks with such care and attention to detail. You could tell he takes pride in his craft — the matcha latte he made was smooth, beautifully whisked! The place itself is cozy and calming, but it’s Binod and Gladys who make the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a spot with quality tea and top-notch service, this is it. ~ Hodan H

If I lived in Dubai, this would be my go to spot. Well, now it is, because for my future travels to Dubai, I will be coming back here! Beautiful architecture, minimalist design. Very big spot, with lots more coming soon! They have a tea room, as well as insane selection of teas & other goods. Came here for a late brunch, and despite the small selection everything was above & beyond. The ingredients here are high quality & everything is done with love. I ordered the oolong cold brew & salmon mango smorrebread. Did not expect to be blown away by the flavor & execution. A must: milk oolong cold brew & nama chocolate cake. Or everything on the menu!! There’s so much to say, but I’ll let you experience this spot for yourself! An edit: I’ve been coming here every time I’m in Dubai! The hojicha + toasted green tea are my fav two teas that I always stock up on. I do wish Pekoe sold bigger sizes for their teas :( one pack is not enough!! ~ Daria Z

Food: 10/10. The bread was very delicious and well prepared. The french toast was moist and exquisite! Service: 9/10. The table was constantly checked on, they were friendly and accommodating. However, I was a bit disappointed that I didnt get tea recommendations. Trying specialty tea for the first time I had high expectations that I’d get recommendations, but the staff was clueless on how to recommend. Their answer (nicely) was “I dont know what you’d like”. People are used to waiters/baristas that describe flavors and aroma. Ambiance: 10/10. The music was nice and not too loud. Prices: 10/10. Artisan bread for good price. I dont think they ask more than they deserve and wouldn’t be upset if it was even higher. Parking is a bit of a walk. Thats the situation in that area. Part of the kitchen is open for the public to see. You can observe the stacked bread bowls covered, it was a nice scene and inclusive. ~ Flik T

I had a wonderful experience at this café. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind and professional throughout our visit. I came in with two other people, and we were treated with great courtesy. I feel compelled to comment on a previous review that misrepresented what actually happened. I was there at the same time and witnessed the situation. The staff politely asked a guest, who was occupying a large five-seat table with only one other person, to move to a two-seat table so that my party of three could have a suitable place to sit. The request was made with complete respect and in the best interest of all customers. It’s unfortunate that such a considerate and fair gesture was misinterpreted, because the team here truly went out of their way to accommodate everyone. I’ve been wanting to come to Pekoe for a while now as I have friends who regularly come & post photos & it always looks so delicious! Let me tell you it did not disappoint - the atmosphere is incredible, we were greeted from the moment we walked in & got favorable seating based on what we were interested in, the food is delicious (pro tip, order a croissant 🥐 - it’s the best in Dubai!) and the coffee is next level (I’m a self proclaimed coffee snob). On my friend Haris Sami’s recommendation, I tried their Almond Croissant, and believe me, it was incredibly fresh, flaky, and rich in flavor. The balance of crispiness and sweet filling was perfect, making it a delightful treat. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxing tea break. Their prices are reasonable, which adds to the overall great experience. I highly recommend visiting this place and exploring their other offerings. Recently visited this spot early afternoon to catch up on some work and ended up staying for early dinner. The tea selection was super impressive and definitely lived up to the name of a tea bar, organised by region, and they even had samples for you to smell the diff types of tea, which was quite an experience. The service was friendly and attentive. And for a tea house, the food was such an unexpected delight. The porcini mushroom risotto in particular was cooked to perfection. The rich and earthy flavour topped off with the complex texture of the porcini mushrooms really hit the right spot. Special thanks to Furqan for the awesome recommendation! The quirky deco writings around added a touch of humor, bringing a smile to my face. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the availability of power plugs was a bit limited, so it was tricky to keep my devices charged while working. Anyway a highly recommended spot in Al Serkal for nice tea experience and a productive afternoon! ~ KunYang L

Pekoe has some of my favorite croissants in Dubai. The Almond Croissant is hands down the best of its kind that I’ve had. Flaky, creamy and soft on the inside, and the perfect balanced sweet. The Tomato Danish and the Lemon Danish were both super good too. And I loved the Olive Oil loaf as well. They make the pastries fresh all day long, and you can taste the fresh delightful flavors in every bite. The Hibiscus “sangria” tea is refreshing and nice to beat the heat. I recently visited The Pekoe tea and bread bar, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the delightful experience. The service was impeccable thanks Josee, The display of bread and other goodies was not only visually appealing but also tantalizing to the taste buds. Ordered a plain croissant, almond croissant and a danish with asparagus and pesto, along with some plain shortbread. The pastry on the croissants and danishes were to die for - probably the best i’ve tasted. The croissants in Europe won’t even come close to these. The asparagus and pesto danish was full of flavor, the pastry was crispy, and so layered, perfectly browned and delicious. The shortbreads were also amazing - small bite sized pieces perfect to dip in coffee or have as a small snack. Will definitely order again! Too dangerous! 😂 ~ Natalie O

Finally a place in Dubai where the ART of baking is executed at the highest level ! Bread are diverse , fresh and so tasty The croissants (plain or with natural flavors) are perfectly crispy and brown outside , light and white inside . Even in Paris it is hard to find the same quality of croissant nowadays. The ART of tea is the biggest surprise of this Gem. An incredible variety of refine blends , selected by highly passionate tea lovers. This is definitely my place for a health , tasty and pleasant brunch or lunch in Dubai. ~ E B
